The Mark of the Witch By Jessica Gibson- Review

I absolutely love books that are filled with magic and romance. I can honestly say that this is one of my all time favorite witch books ever. It is a book full of action, adventure, and romance. It definitely isn't the regular romance I read, which is saying something because I love the romance genre. Jessica Gibson is the author of this wonderful book and I would recommend to any of my friends and family. She is a new author and this is one of her newest books.

Jilly has accepted that she is a witch, but it has always been something that her sister Caroline can't accept. After William Morgan blows into Jilly's life he unleashes hidden powers that Jilly wasn't aware she possessed. When he accidentally exposes Jilly to his ex, they both realize that they need to reign in Jilly's power before she looses everything that she has ever held close.

This is definitely a book I would recommend to anyone who loves magic and action. I for one couldn't put the book down once I started reading it. I was completely absorbed in the book and I was found reading it any time I was home. It is the kind of book that keeps you guessing about what will happen next. The Mark of the Witch is a light and fun read for anyone who enjoys getting lost in a  book full of magic and love.

Savage Hunger- By Terry Spear

With the summer continuously getting hotter and hotter, I find that when I am not working, you can find me reading in my room. I love finding new authors and I have recently found one that I am hooked on. Terry Spear is the author of a brand new series called Heart of the Jaguar. The first book in this wonderful series is titled "Savage Hunger" and yes it is just as enthralling as the title entails.

When soldier Kathleen McKnight was caught in the crossfire during her mission in the Amazon, a mysterious and gorgeous stranger saves her life and vanishes with out a trace. One year after being injured Kathleen has decided to come back to the rain forest in an attempt to find her mysterious hero.

Jaguar shape-shifter, Connor Anderson, wasn't expecting to be drawn to Kathleen when he saved her life, but something about her keeps drawing his mind back to that day. When he finds her wandering in the rain forest a year later he becomes determined to keep her as his own. Will she be able to accept and join him in his life as a jaguar, or will they be torn apart by the drug lord who wants revenge on Kathleen because of her mission one year ago?

This is definitely a book that I would recommend to others and Terry Spear is an author that I regret not reading before now. This book's expected release date is in October of this year and I would absolutely put it on my to read list. Don't miss out on a book that will keep you wanting more and more.

Passion Unleashed- By Larissa Ione

On a warm summer day there is nothing I love more than sitting in the sun and reading a book. I love reading anything from Robert Jordan to Gena Showalter, anything with adventure in it draws my imagination to a world that I long to live in. My latest reading adventures have drawn me to an author named Larissa Ione. I have absolutely fallen in love with her writing and I now own every book by her that I could find as I searched the internet. I particularly love her Demonica series, it's jam packed full of adventure and romance, my favorite combination.

The Demonica series focuses around the lives of a group of Seminus demons that just so happen to be brothers. These demons survive on sex and are not only incubus demons, but they are also what ever demon their mother is. I just finished the third book in the series called "Passion Unleashed". This book focuses on a Seminus named Wraith who just so happens to be half vampire. He is a man with a temper and has a habit of blowing up at any moment without warning. But when Wraith is poisoned with a slow acting drug he has only months to live. Wraiths attention turns to a human named Serena Kelly, who is protected by a charm that protects her from harm. The catch is that this charm is the only thing keeping her alive, and it only remains active while she remains a virgin. With time running out Wraith is faced with a horrible decision; take the charm from Serena and kill the only woman he has ever loved, or face his own inevitable doom.

If you are looking for a book that will draw you in from beginning to end, this is the book for you. I can honestly say that it leaves you wanting more and more. I encourage that you read the rest of the books in this series. I have fallen in love with all of her books and I believe that you will too.

Just a Lazy Kind of a Day

I can tell when life is good when I sleep till noon, watch music videos on the television, play Neopets, World of Warcraft, and browse the internet looking at clothes. I am easily entertained and I am quite happy just sitting here in my living room doing absolutely nothing. I discovered a new type of coffee today, French Roast, and I loved it, honestly without coffee I don't know what I would do. The one thing I can’t forget to do today is clean my room. My fiancĂ© is coming back for leave in nine days and we are redoing my room, completely. We are painting my walls, getting new furniture, and even getting new accessories. I’m pretty excited because I love doing things like this, and I wish I could do it for a living. Unfortunately I can’t but I’m perfectly okay with going to college to get my PhD in History.

I have realized that as you grow up your since of style changes. I used to wear all black, all the time, mom would get so mad, but I didn't care because I saw nothing wrong with it. Now as I look back at it I wish that I had listened to her and worn more colors, but I'm glad that I didn’t something that I enjoyed even if it was just wearing lots of dark colors. Now I'm noticing that I wear a lot of brighter colors, anywhere from neon blue to hot pink I even have bright red hair now. I love it and don't care what other people think, which I could not have said four years ago. I love how I look right now and nothing could change that, and that is one of my favorite parts of growing up.

My First College Experience

This weekend was my first ever real college experience, college registration. I got registered for all of my classes, my college ID, and I even met some new friends. I was a little scared at first when it came to getting classes, and I was really nervous when they told me that I already had homework that I had to do, but as the teacher continued to talk about my class I got excited to finally have to opportunity to learn about things that I love. One of the things that really helped me get used to this was the fact that they teachers are so nice, I was afraid that they were going to be mean, but in fact they are more than willing to help you as long as you ask. As the weekend went on I got more and more comfortable with the people in my group, and I got even more adjusted to college life. I had the opportunity to sleep in a dorm for the first time in my life. Unfortunately, I spent my night on a couch because all of the men decided to come to my dorm house, but I got to spend it with my friends and fall asleep to the sound of crickets and a cool breeze that was coming through our open window. Even though I was only at college for the weekend, it really got me motivated to try my hardest at what I'm doing, and it even got me excited for college to actually start. I think that all together I’m really going to enjoy going to college because the staff is amazing and the campus is beautiful. Growing up isn’t easy, but I will make sure that I get the most out of it as I can, and enjoy college to its fullest.
